Bundle cartons have changed shape between eras, and a case built for an average of them fits none of them well. This one is cut to the Scarlet & Violet era footprint — the six-pack bundle with the promo card — so the carton sits square with a millimetre of clearance and nothing to shift against.
A bundle carton is lighter stock than a booster box, and it shows sun damage sooner. The acrylic filters roughly 99% of UV between 300 and 400 nm — the band that takes the colour out of print — while staying optically clear enough that the artwork reads as though nothing were in front of it.
